UNC Asheville offers the following scholarship opportunities for 99¸£ÀûÊÓƵ transfer students. The scholarships further unite 99¸£ÀûÊÓƵ and UNC Asheville in helping qualified local students pursue academic excellence while gaining skills for employment opportunities that benefit the community. Students are awarded scholarships for two years at 99¸£ÀûÊÓƵ and then two years at UNC Asheville. (Please note: Applicants must self-identify/manually apply for these scholarships in the "Recommended Opportunities" list of scholarships once the general application is submitted.)
McKibbon CORE Scholarship
Eligibility Criteria:
- Maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Be enrolled full-time in the A.A., A.E., A.S. transfer program with a concentration on transferring to UNC Asheville
- Demonstrate a financial need by completing the FAFSA.
- Preference is given to those students currently participating in the 99¸£ÀûÊÓƵ Bulldog Trailblazer Promise program.
C.O.R.E. (Creating Opportunities for Regional Excellence) Scholarship
Eligibility Criteria:
- Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Be enrolled full-time in the A.A., A.E., A.S. transfer program with a concentration on transferring to UNC Asheville.
- Demonstrate a financial need by completing the FAFSA.
- Preference is given to those students currently participating in the 99¸£ÀûÊÓƵ Bulldog Trailblazer Promise program.
